Description
Insulation Sheet For Data Center In Bangladesh
Mold resistant AP/Armaflex Self Adhesive Sheet Insulation is a flexible elastomeric thermal insulation, black in color. It is furnished with a smooth skin on one side which forms the outer exposed insulation surface and a peel and stick adhesive system on the other side for quick and easy installation. The expanded closed-cell structure of Armaflex makes it an efficient insulation. It is manufactured without the use of CFC’s, HCFC’s, or HFC’s. It is also formaldehyde-free, dust free, low VOCs, fiber free and resists mold and mildew. All AP Armaflex products are made with Microban® antimicrobial product protection for added defense against mold on the insulation. Available in 1/8″, 1/4″ 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″ ,1″, 1-1/2″ and 2″ thickness. Sheets are 36″ x 48″ in size.
1/4″ thick sheets are 24 sheets per carton for a total of 288 square feet.
3/8″ thick sheets are 16 sheets per carton for a total of 192 square feet.
1/2″ thick sheets are 12 sheets per carton for a total of 144 square feet.
3/4″ thick sheets are 8 sheets per carton for a total of 96 square feet.
1″ thick sheets are 6 sheets per carton for a total of 72 square feet.
1-1/2″ thick sheets are 4 sheets per carton for atotal of 48 square feet.
2″ thick sheets are 3 sheets per carton for a total of 36 square feet.
As electrical equipment in data centres generates vast amounts of heat, round-the-clock cooling is required to ensure optimum operating temperature ranges. Independent of the design, three important factors need to be considered when choosing the right insulation material for the cooling system.
- Efficient Thermal Insulation – The goal of insulation is to prevent heat loss or heat gain. The selected material must be efficient in minimising energy losses from piping while refrigerant or cooling liquid is being piped to its destination.
- Effective Condensation Control – Insulation can help to prevent condensation on pipework carrying cooling liquid or refrigerant. Dripping condensed water can lead to serious issues, especially with electrical equipment located close by. The installed insulation material should not be prone to absorbing any condensation because for every 1% of moisture gained in cellular plastic insulation material, there is an estimated loss of 3% to 5% in thermal efficiency.
- Dust and Fibre Free Material – Customers expect the highest quality of air cleanliness, as contaminants in a data centre can lead to components overheating, and electrical or mechanical failure of components, power supplies and circuit boards. A dust- and fibre-free insulation material is recommended in such cleanroom and mission-critical environments.
